Redefining Touring Comfort: Purpose-Built for the Tropics
The Kruger Air Riding Pants are engineered to shatter the misconception that protective gear must be uncomfortable. Designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in India, the Kruger Air is purpose-built to tackle the rigorous demands of long-distance touring in tropical weather conditions.
It combines the rugged durability of Genuine Invista Cordura™ with the superior impact absorption of PowerTector CE Level 2 armor. The result is a pant that offers all-day comfort, exceptional ventilation, and uncompromised safety, whether you are crossing state lines or navigating technical terrain.
Key Performance Features:
-
Genuine Cordura Protection: High-impact zones (knees, hips, seat) are reinforced with Dual-Layered Invista Cordura™ 500D, known for its exceptional abrasion resistance. Secondary reinforcement uses 600D Ripstop and Oxford fabrics for long-lasting durability.
-
Honest Level 2 Armor: Equipped with PowerTector Air-Tec CE Level 2 Type B armor for both knees and hips. These larger Type B protectors offer wider coverage than standard Type A armor. A dedicated pocket is included for an optional tailbone protector.
-
Massive Ventilation: Designed for the Indian heat, extensive mesh panels ensure continuous airflow over critical heat zones. A moisture-wicking inner liner prevents sweat buildup, keeping you cool mile after mile.
-
Ergonomic Touring Fit: The FocusFit design features pre-curved knees and seamless stretch panels at the crotch to eliminate pressure points. This ensures the pants feel like a tracksuit, offering unrestricted movement both on and off the bike.
-
Customized Inseam Fit: Available in two inseam options—Regular and Short—for every waist size. This ensures the knee armor sits correctly without the fabric bunching up at the ankles.
-
BootFlex System: Full knee-length zippers and strategically placed calf stretch panels allow the pants to fit securely over any riding boot, making gearing up quick and effortless.

Fitment & Sizing Guide
How to Measure:
To ensure the perfect fit, we recommend having a friend help you take measurements using a flexible tailor's tape. Wear thin base layers to get accurate numbers.
-
High Hip (Waist): Wrap the tape around your natural belt line. Keep the tape parallel to the ground—not too tight, not too loose.
-
In-Seam Length: Hold a hardbound book firmly between your legs (crotch). Measure from the top edge of the book down to your ankle bone.
Choosing Your In-Seam:
The Kruger Air is unique because it offers two inseam lengths for every waist size. This ensures the knee armor sits correctly regardless of your height.
-
Regular: For riders with standard leg length.
-
Short: For riders with shorter legs.
-
Tip: If your measurements fall between sizes, prioritize the In-Seam length to choose your size. The waist can be adjusted using the built-in belt loop system.
How to Check the Fit:
Once you receive your pants, perform these checks before riding:
-
Assume the Position: The Kruger Air is cut for the riding posture. Wear the pants for 5–10 minutes and sit on your motorcycle (or a chair) to let them settle. Standing movements might feel slightly restrictive due to the pre-curved design.
-
Knee Armor Check: While seated with your knee bent, the armor should cover the knee cap and extend at least 2 inches above the knee. It should cup the sides of the knee equally.
-
Adjusting the Armor: If the armor sits too loose or slightly off-center, use the cinch straps (ladderlocks) on the thigh and calf. Pull the webbing to bring the armor closer to your leg for a secure, protective fit.
-
Inseam Matters: Choose the correct inseam (Short or Regular) based on your height to ensure the knee armor aligns correctly with your leg.
-
Riding Position Check: Always check the fit while seated on your motorcycle. The pre-curved design may feel slightly different when standing but should feel natural in the riding posture.
-
Armour Placement: Ensure the knee armor covers the knee cap and extends at least 2 inches above it when the knee is bent. Use the cinch straps to secure it in place.
-
Boot Fit: The BootFlex system is designed to go over your riding boots. Use the calf zipper and velcro hem to secure the pants over the boot shaft.
